Viewers are calling out the HBO Max series after the Sex in the City spin-off’s most recent July 3rd episode in which Nicole Ari Parker’s character Lisa Todd Wexley announced that her dad, previously played by Billy D. Williams, had passed away. Yeah, there have been a lot of calls. Charlotte, my father died. Oh my god. When this afternoon. The only problem, Lisa had previously shared in season 1 that her father was already dead, meaning the writers either intentionally or unintentionally killed him off a second time. As for the fans thoughts on the major continuity error, one Tik Tok user posted with the contrasting clips side by side has and just like that completely forgot they killed Lisa’s dad off already. A third follower quipped in the comments, “Carrie will be having dinner with Big next episode.” while another questioned like, “Do the writers actually just not care?” Of course, this isn’t the first time, and just like that has been called out for filming mistakes.
