16 & Pregnant’s Whitney Purvis Arrested for Involuntary Manslaughter | E! News
Whitney Pervvis is in police custody after being arrested in Floyd County, Georgia for felony involuntary manslaughter, according to online records viewed by E-News. Per the entry, the former T-MOM star faces two charges relating to controlled substances. The first for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and the second for the use of communication facility and commission of a felony involving controlled substances. A warrant obtained by Fox 5 accuses Whitney of supplying victim John Mark Harris, who police found dead on February 16th from a suspected overdose with a drug called Tran, which per the outlet is a combo of fentinyl and xylazine. The tragic news comes just 1 month after Whitney’s son, Weston Gosa Jr. died at age 16. On Facebook, June 2nd, Whitney wrote, “Life is so cruel and unfair. My baby is gone and I don’t know what to do with myself. This is really my worst nightmare come true. Weston’s stepmom, Amy Gosa, gave additional details on the passing, writing on Facebook, “They tried to wake him up at 7:00 a.m. but couldn’t.” She wrote, “He was not breathing. We attempted CPR and called an ambulance. The paramedics attempted it as well and took him to the hospital in Gordon County, Georgia, where he was pronounced dead. [Music]

I remember watching this show growing up and still can’t believe they made these girls famous. I only watch the first few seasons when the children were first born and seasons when they were toddlers. Seems like a lot of them end up in trouble with the law. So sad for the children whose lives have also been in the spotlight.

Secondly , your biggest support , your Grandma , has also passed . One is a parents worst fear and biggest heartbreak and who can you turn to for guidance , comfort , wisdom ? I know you feel like you’re walking around with no legs , your heart stomped on , and hope for the future isn’t imaginable . It’s going to be life before this and life after this . The two will never be one again . I don’t know about this kind of loss in particular but I do know the losses I’ve been through were huge . Time . It’s the thing that you have to transcend to be any …. Further from the pain but better isn’t quite the word . It’s just less pain , less heartache . Eventually you’ll be able to look at the photos . Later you’ll search the world for every photo and video , every social media post , each message and voicemail . Have someone put them in a safe place so that when you want to remember these two special people , you’ll be able to . That in itself will help a bit . Don’t go backwards , don’t tread on to dark paths . Be with friends , eat good food when you finally can eat at all , stay in peaceful company . Honor them by living gracefully . God bless dear . ❤
