Robert Irwin apologizes for dining and dashing at popular Australia restaurant: ‘I felt terrible’
Hey guys, Robert here. So, I uh have a funny story. I’m road tripping down the east coast of Australia at the moment, and I stopped in at Coffs Harour, which is a beautiful coastal town in Northern New South Wales, um for a bit of dinner. Found a great restaurant, ordered a takeaway, salad, and went in and little did I know, this place is the place to be in Coffs Harour. It was packed. It’s called the Jetty Pavilion. And I went in there and uh there was a lot of people who um you know saw me and and said good day and wanted to have a photo and and all that which is which is all good but it turned into a bit of a a bit of a frenzy. It was a little bit of a flurry there for a minute. Um and so they were so nice. They got the salad super fast. I made sure I said hi to absolutely everyone. Cheers. Thanks so much. Have a good night. See you later. And then the next morning I wake up and realize I never paid for my salad. I I just did the old dying and dash and I didn’t even realize I’d done it. I felt terrible. So, you know, reached out, do you want me to give you my credit card details or Venmo you or, you know, how do you want me to do it? Cuz I’d left Coffs Harour and they said, oh, I love what you do. It’s all good. You know, sorry for the mixup. Just leave us a good review. So, I said, “Guys, Jetty Pavilion, I got to do you one better.” There are 8 million of you guys on here, so you know what to do. I have tagged them. Go and support the Jetty Pavilion in Coffs Harour. a fantastic local business, great team, great food, amazing atmosphere. That’s my review. They are the absolute best. So, please go and support them. Thank you so much. I apologize again. I know you guys were all like, “Oh, it’s all good.” But I am going to be coming back up through Coffs Harour and I am going to be giving you in person the money for that salad because today is not the day I start my life of crime. As much as the tabloids would love that, it’s not happening. Um, I’m so sorry again. I felt terrible. But thank you so much. And guys, go and support the Jetty Pavilion. All right. Cheers everyone. Love you, Coughs Harour. You guys are the best. Onto the rest of the road trip. I am not going to steal any more salads.
Robert Irwin issued an apology after dining and dashing at a popular restaurant in Australia over the weekend.
“Hey, guys. Robert here,” the son of late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin began his selfie-style Instagram video Sunday.
Calling it a “funny story,” the 21-year-old wildlife conservationist explained that he’s currently “roadtripping down the east coast of Australia.”
He “stopped in” at the Jetty Pavilion in the city of Coffs Harbour “for a bit of dinner,” ordering a salad to go, he told fans.
