Kesha reflects on making music for Dr. Luke while in litigation with him #shorts
recordings of my voice did not legally belong to me in the universe in perpetuity. I didn’t really understand what that meant. Mhm. For, you know, and then I did, you know, I didn’t understand and then I did. To be then delivering music to someone that you’re in a litigation with and they’re in control of the promotion, of the budgets for 10 years. Mhm. But the only way I get out of the deal is if I delivered the music. So it’s like you’re like it got very weird.
It got very weird.

These artists are owned.
Any contract you get at any job, you have to get a lawyer to look at it with you who specializes in that field, ie a music lawyer.
And she lied in court
Dr Luke is an Zionist Jew. FYI.
Isn't Dr. Luke just a producer? Like an album producer/ song producer?
Don't the labels get to decide on these types of things like ownership and contracts?
I don't understand he's just a producer like for eg. RedOne did Bad Romance or Mark Ronson did Perfect Illusion for Gaga but ultimately Interscope has all the power on Gaga whether she sticks to her contract and what they own etc.
I mean… the industry is designed to capitalise (by any means necessary) talent. Those execs are friends to nobody.
I don't understand why it is even legal for a company to own someone else's parts of them. I understand the company owning songs but owning someone's voice and effectively thoughts should not be legal. I hope her coming forward continues change for artists
My babygirl is 5 and she knows Kesha's TikTok and we love Kesha and I am happy to see her doing well again. It must have been a very long nightmare, hopefully she is feeling better now 🙏🏽
Kesha’s fault. Get an attorney people before signing anything or giving anything away.
Her speaking voice is so pretty
In perpetuity- forever
This is a lot of celebs
She looks absolutely Stunning ! 💖 💐
Get a shower!
She talks through her nose like “berrrr-derrrp-nrrrrrrrderrrrp-berrrr-derrrrrp”
I love the new record. She sounds healed and happy. It’s nice to see her having fun again, and this time it’s on her own terms.
That's a man, baby
Her legs are amazing 😍
English is my second language and I understand what that meant 😬
I wish people would stop putting on the kardashian accent, they sound ridiculous
