I just had this voice inside me. I sound just like dad where it was just like this voice from God like telling me that like you were supposed to do this with Blake shouting. I was just like, “No, this song is Blake’s. Like Blake has to be on this song.” And even just shooting the music video, like I just feel like our connection was so true. But I vocally like, man, I don’t you know, my best friend’s Orville Peek, but like I don’t have many real friends. I don’t have very many like allies in this industry. And he was like, well, you got one now, buddy. And I swear it just like filled my like my eyes with water because that was what I really hoped out of the relationship was, yes, I would love to get Blake on this song so that Blake can help me share this message. But it was like it was like something in my soul and something like God was telling me like I think you should be in Blake’s life.
