I feel like it makes my heart sing that hearing that you guys like kind of made the big jump opening for Averil and all these years later you guys are still like collaborating. You have a new song out with her. You guys have been popping up on her shows and everything like that. Have you guys always been in touch with her or is it kind of like a touchandgo moment cuz you guys everyone’s so busy? Yeah, we’re always I mean she she has a busy life and we don’t we don’t speak all the time, but like we had this tour back in 2003 and it was her first tour and it was so much fun. And then last year she reached out to us for an opening slot for her uh this past year and we had so much fun and we just realized like this is so great. We get to relive all these moments together and I have to say she is the sweetest person. Every time we start a tour she has like gift bags for us. She wrote me like a handwritten note for my birthday and got got me like a custom Yeti uh cup. I was like, you you’re like, you know, the biggest celebrity ever, but still so grounded and so cool. I have um such fond memories of seeing you guys on the Hillary Duff concert special. You don’t understand how much the birthday extravaganza like I love Hillary Duff so much. And for context, like he wears parasol and cologne, so like you know what I mean? Just to give you more context of his mind, this is who I am. Do you have any special memories from your time in Hawaii with Hillary? You know, the one thing that stands out to me is I got so sunburned. I’ve, you know, I’ve never been to Quai before. I was like, “Oh yeah, take off my shirts, get some tan.” And I I and I had to fly back right away and I was like, “Oh, no. This is really bad.” Like Hawaiian son was not friendly to me. But it was so much fun. She was so sweet. Hillary was another sweet person. Yes. Such a nice cool. And uh you know what a nice life to have like a amazing birthday party, put it on TV and have simple plan play. It’s pretty good.
