    I’m in a lot of pain and that has to come first. Richard Drifus shares a serious health update. The Hollywood legend who is set to appear at Sharkcon in Tampa, Florida, announces he’s had to cancel due to being diagnosed with viral bronchitis, sharing the news from a hospital bed in a video posted to Instagram by event organizers July 12th. Hello fellow cons and uh I am very very sorry to tell you that I’ve been diagnosed with viral uh uh bronchitis bronchitis and I’ve been told by my doctors I cannot fly uh and I would have to fly 5 hours to get there. The Jaws alum, who appeared in the Oscar-winning Stephen Spielberg film 50 years ago, then apologizes to fans for backing out of the annual shark themed convention. I’m terribly sorry because I had planned to be there and had been looking forward to it. However, Richard, who’s the last surviving member of the fame Jaws trio, which includes himself along with the late Roy Shider and Robert Shaw, says he has to take time to focus on his recovery. I’m in a lot of pain and that has to come first, my health. [Music]

      Viral meaning it can kill him and can get other people sick. What he did he's Def dissapointed but he's where he needs to be. Real fans would want him to get better and not spread something that can also hurt them. He's older its more critical. Praying for him 🙏

      I really hope he can recover even if it takes a while. He has been an inspiration to me, even till this day he is. I don't need another loss from the jaws cast, he's the only one left from the jaws trio. I really wish him a good and smooth recovery.
