Ellen DeGeneres Defends Rosie O’Donnell Against Donald Trump
Ellen DeGeneres is coming to Rosie O’Donnell’s defense after President Donald Trump shares a post on Truth Social saying he was considering revoking Ros’s United States citizenship and she clapped back. Ellen is now stepping in with her own support. Alongside screenshots of Donald Trump and Rosy’s back and forth that Ellen shares to Instagram on July 13th, the former talk show host who relocated to England earlier this year with wife Porsche Dasi tags Rosie and writes in the caption, “Good for you.” And Rosie, who moved to Ireland just before Donald Trump’s January inauguration, defends herself, writing in a July 13th Instagram post alongside a photo of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, “Hey, Donald, you’re rattled again. 18 years later, and I still live rent-ree in that collapsing brain of yours. You call me a threat to humanity, but I’m everything you fear. A loud woman, a queer woman who tells the truth.” The View alum goes on to share insight into why she moved to Ireland with her adopted 12-year-old, writing, “You build walls. I build a life for my autistic kid in a country where decency still exists.” She adds, “You want to revoke my citizenship? Go ahead and try King Joffrey with Tangerine Spray Tan. I’m not yours to silence, and I never was. [Music]
