Trata on the River in Piermont NY ‘really reminds me of summer’

Vincent Curatola, who played Johnny Sack in HBO’s famous mob drama, “The Sopranos,” dined at Trata on the River in Piermont on July 13.
The waterside restaurant, known for its Mediterranean food and Greek island vibe, is a summer favorite thanks to its picturesque perch and gorgeous Tappan Zee views. It’s also, since opening last year, a popular destination for a host of celebrities.
National syndicated radio personality Skeery Jones from the Elvis Doran Show ate there last October while November saw the dynamic duo of local Rocklanders (and actors) Aidan Quinn and Mikhail Baryshnikov. And in March, Grant Ellis of “The Bachelor” fame was spotted as was Joseph Simmons from Run DMC and Nyack’s own Devin McCourty, who was a safety in the NFL for 13 seasons with the New England Patriots.
More recently, in May, New York Knick Kevin McCullar Jr. had dinner.
