The Mason City, Iowa news anchor, who vanished on June 27th, 1995. The 27-year-old’s disappearance, devastating loved ones, baffling law enforcement, and turning into a legendary cold case file. As investigators scoured for answers, the Minnesota Transplants hometown hung missing posters and storefronts for friends and co-workers wearing tribute ribbons. In the aftermath of Jod telling her producer she was heading into work, but was never seen nor heard from again, and in 2001 was officially declared dead. Less than 24 hours after it aired, she would vanish. [Music] KIMT News anchor Jodie Husen was just 27 at the time of her disappearance. Things went from we’re just looking for somebody missing to we’re looking for somebody that was abducted. There’s a show called Gone at Dawn on 2020. The 2020 show that’s why I reached out to M City Police. My information just fit in there too much. You know that burning gut feeling that you get? I couldn’t let it go. Now, ABC News inspiring new statements and gaining intimate access with the police’s 30-year search. Now, police have new leads that could mean finally finding her killer. She told me she thought someone was following her. Was this person a stalker? Was it a crazed fan? Time to get this done. It’s time to get this case solved. It’s just awful that this happened. You know, where is she? We were the only ones given access to join the search and film it. I had a bad feeling. Gives me chills just to think about it. I just couldn’t believe my eyes. Holy crap.
