Exclusive: Love Island USA’s Pepe Reacts to Claim He Only Likes Blondes

I don’t have a type. I’ve dated three women in my life. They’ve all look completely different. Honestly, from the get-go, I think both of us have been very respectful to everybody and their feelings. Um, and so it just continues to stay like that. You know, we we appreciate the time we had, at least I can speak for myself, and I appreciate the time I had for Hannah, um, and with Hannah. And, you know, the time we had in there, whatever amount of days it was, it feels like a lot longer. Um, but you continue to to live the experience and just continue to move on and just happy I stayed and and got to meet Iris and, you know, I want to have that conversation with Hannah just to continue to be friends no matter what, you know, and there there aren’t too many people that have lived that experience this season on Love Island. So, it would be a shame to just throw friendships away just because we all went through this crazy experience. you know, I think it’s a little irrational to to say you fell in love with someone in 3 days, you know? So, uh, or a week or whatever it was, like it’s one of those things where, yeah, we just want to have those conversations and say like, “Look, what I felt for you was real. I was extremely sad when you left and you know, I’m I’m I’m sorry that it played out the way it played out, but yeah, we’re all friends and like I to like piggy back off that, I agree that’s exactly what I did as well. felt like I had a closer conversation with TJ and um I just let him know my feelings and um my thoughts and um we’re all we all love each other, you know. There’s no hate or we’re all we’re all going to be friends. You did? Yeah. Um I love Hannah. She’s great. She’s she’s hilarious. And um we yeah, we’re we’re all friends and we all love each other and um there’s no bad blood or anything. It’s such a weird experience cuz like you think in in the in any other experience in the world, you’re like, “Oh yeah, no, we’re they’re for sure hating each other, but it’s like you have nothing but respect for everybody that walked in there and put their their hearts literally on the line and their lives on the line.” Not in that sense, but like your life changes. Your life. Yeah. Um, and so you just can you can only respect people for for having the courage to get out of their little bubble and and go and do that. So it’s all love for everybody. Don’t I don’t have a type. I’ve dated three women in my life. They’ve all look completely different. Well, I guess not four, but um they all look they literally have all look completely different. I don’t have a type. Um but I did go in there and just said I’m going to lead with my heart and not my head. Um, and I just kept going for sweet, genuine, caring women. And for whatever reason, they were all blonde. But, um, that was just what my heart was going for.

‘Love Island USA’ contestant Pepe Garcia—who dated Iris Kendall, Gracyn Blackmore and Hannah Fields on the Peacock show—set the record straight on the rumor his type is only blonde women. He also exclusively revealed to E! News where he stands with Hannah today.
