Ariana Grande Reacts to “Very Silly” Claim About Her Music Career | E! News

Ariana Grande reacts to claims about her music career. The Grammy winner takes to social media July 16th to address what she calls very silly claims about her abandoning her music career. In the post, alongside a video of her performing at the 2024 Met Gala, she writes, “Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing and music before adding, it is and has always been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it.” The actress reassures her fans that although she is starring in more projects now, she’s determined to find a balance with it all. She continues, “It may not look exactly like it did before, but I much prefer how it looks in my head. I am having fun. I feel grateful and excited and inspired, finding a balance between many projects and endeavors I love and doing it my own way before concluding with an exciting tease that a potential upcoming tour or live performance is in the works. So, I’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year, even if it’s just for a little, I love you. Her post comes nearly 24 hours after announcing her exciting next movie role. She will star in the animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s beloved children’s book, Oh, The Places You’ll Go. Sharing the announcement to Instagram, Ariana posed in The Voice Recording Studio, hiding behind her script binder alongside co-star Josh Gad. And while Ariana may be a global music superstar, she’s thrilled with her return to playing characters. She said on a November episode of the Lost Culturistas podcast, “I think I love acting. I love musical theater. Reconnecting with this part of myself who started in musical theater and who loves comedy and it heals me to do that. Finding roles to use these parts of myself and put them in little homes and characters and bits and voices and songs. [Music]

Ariana Grande clarified rumors about the future of her music career, shortly after she confirmed she’ll lead Oh, the Places You’ll Go! and the Meet the Parents sequel.
