Prince Harry and King Charles have met halfway with the help of their reps, but it really wasn’t all that much of a secret, considering the aides met at a private members’ club for all to see.
We reached out to Brittani Barger, co-founder of Royal News, to get her take on the get together, and according to the royal expert, it was a nice day in London and why not enjoy the weather and meet outside on the balcony.
Barger told Daily Express US, “I don’t think they purposely met in public to send a message.It seemed like a lovely day in London, so they may have been enjoying time outside for their meeting.”
While the meeting wasn’t necessarily top secret, what was discussed is still unknown. There are a lot of people making guesstimates, but really the only people who will know were at the table and their principals.
Even so, Barger found it interesting to see them sit down together and her guesstimate is that “they are hoping there will be a reconciliation one day so that King Charles can get to know and spend time with his two grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
Harry and Meghan moved to the US in 2020, and their children have had little, to know interaction, with their British relatives, including grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Barger explained: “The children are innocent in all of this, and they shouldn’t miss out on family because the adults aren’t able to get along.”
