That’s car. Bust out the midnight margaritas. Because the Owen sisters are back in action. Nicole Kidman sharing this first look of her and Sandra Bulock on set as Jillian and Sally for Practical Magic 2. Yep, that’s right. I’m back. Hang on to your husband’s girls. Here’s what we know about the sequel out next September. It’s been 27 years since the OG film hit the big screen. This follow-up seemingly inspired by The Book of Magic, the final book in the series on which the movies are based. There’s a curse that’s in this family for um there’s been this curse for hundreds and hundreds of years that the the women uh in this this Owens family if they the man that really loves them dies. And so mine and Nicole’s generation, we have that burden to live with. Also returning from the original, Stalker Channing and Diane Wuest as eccentric aunts Francis and Jet. Evan Rachel Wood, who played Kylie Sally’s daughter, lamented not being asked back, noting her role been recast, likely with Joey King. I mean, I didn’t want to bring it up. Get ready. Nicole’s a Family Affair co-star joining the flick in a TBA role alongside fellow newcomers Zolo Marijua. Maisie Williams and Lee Pace. Get ready for some witchy magic.

Break out the midnight margaritas! The Owens sisters are headed back to the big screen in ‘Practical Magic 2,’ out Sept. 2026. Nicole Kidman shared a first look at the start of filming with Sandra Bullock. They return as Gillian and Sally, alongside Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing as their eccentric aunts, Frances and Jet. Joining the cast are newcomers (to the franchise) Joey King, Xolo Maridueña, Maisie Williams and Lee Pace.
