Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham Spark Fleetwood Mac Reunion Rumors | E! News

Stevie Nicks and Lindseay Buckingham are unleashing a landslide of speculation. The Fleetwood Mac alum sparked reunion rumors as they shared a pair of cryptic and seemingly synchronized song lyrics on social media. In a post on her Instagram page July 17th, Stevie shares the handwritten lyrics and if you go forward, taken from the 1973 Buckingham Knicks song Frozen Love. Within minutes, Lindsay completed the phrase in a post of his own, sharing the lyrics, “I’ll meet you there.” And then, adding fuel to the fire, the pair’s fellow bandmate, Mick Fleetwood, shared a video of himself listening to the song and praising its production just one day earlier. The the marriage of Stevie and Lindsay, the marriage of coming into Fleet with Mac when they did, uh, it’s all in this song. It’s in the the music uh that played on for so many years. It’s magic then, magic now. Uh what a thrill. While Stevie and Lindsay were never actually married, they did date from 1972 to 1976, with their breakup serving as creative inspiration for the group’s 1977 massive album, Rumors. Their relationship came front and center during the iconic 1997 performance of the hit song Silver Springs with the audience feeling the tension between the two bandmates as they stared each other down while Stevie sang right to Lindsay. Stevie has previously dismissed the idea of getting the group back together following the death of their bandmate Christine McVy in 2022.
