Buff Bagwell has been involved in multiple car accidents.
Regarding his 2020 car accident, which resulted in the recent amputation of his leg, he has publicly stated that he had been drinking prior to the accident and also took Xanax. He described blacking out and the incident feeling like a dream.
He was also involved in a serious car accident in 2012 where reports suggested he may have suffered a seizure. There are some mentions of him addressing his drinking around this time, but it's not explicitly stated that he was drunk during that specific 2012 accident.
It's important to distinguish between his different accidents, as the circumstances and his statements about them vary. However, he has confirmed that alcohol and prescription medication were involved in the 2020 crash that led to his recent leg amputation.
Get well soon Buff Bagwell 🙏
