Golfer Scottie Scheffler’s Toddler Steals the Show After British Open Win | E! News

Golfer Scotty Sheffller’s 14-month-old son has the cutest reaction to his win. The professional golfer celebrated his first British Open win with his adorable 14-month-old son, Bennett, on July 20th. After his win, his toddler can be seen hobbling towards his dad before taking a tumble. Eventually, cameras captured the moment he made it over to his dad, who held his trophy in one hand and his son Bennett in the other. And this isn’t the first time he stole the show at one of his dad’s wins. Earlier in June, he was spotted again in his dad’s arms after his memorial tournament win in Ohio. A journalist also poked fun at the viral moment as his baby could be seen with a poop stain on his outfit while Sheffler was doing interviews following his win. Kyle Porter wrote on X at the time, “Winning a golf tournament for $4 million and your wife handing you a baby with a poop stain square in the middle of his back is peak dad life.” Sheffler and his wife Meredith welcomed their son back in May 2024. He shared his arrival in a heartfelt post on Instagram at the time, writing, “Welcome to the world, little one. Your mom and dad love you so much.” Sheffller has been open in the past about how his wife and son have supported him throughout his many wins on the PGA tour. When asked about his wife’s impact on his success, he told CBS Sports after his win, “You’re really trying to make me emotional now. I mean, my wife is my biggest supporter. She’s my best friend.
