Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning to Costar in Their First Movie Together
Dakota and El Fanning are ready for a major milestone. Acting together in a film for the first time ever. The sisters sharing their news on Instagram July 22nd. The two will co-star in the adaptation of Kristen Hannah’s novel The Night and Gale with the siblings pulling double duty, sharing the screen for the World War II set story, as well as producing the adaptation through their Luwell and Pictures production company. While older sister Dakotas made red carpets a family affair for years until now the stars have yet to put their talents together on film with the inaugural outing tapping into a dynamic close to home. The best-seller story surrounding two sisters surviving a war torn France as their journey split into separate tales celebrating the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. This comes four years after Dakota and L first announced their joint production banner. In a statement at the time, the sister said they aimed to tell stories through comedy and drama which are authentic to the human experience and not just from our perspective.
