Now, New York City’s medical examiner’s office confirming Anne died by suicide, citing acute intoxication across multiple substances with two antihistamine related drugs, empetamine plus ethanol, a common element in alcohol, leading to her fatal overdose. NBC News confirmed at the time emergency responders rushed to Anne’s home over reports of an unconscious and unresponsive female before pronouncing Anne dead at the scene. A New York Times report added she was discovered in a shower with around 100 pills scattered nearby. In the aftermath, Anne’s loved ones mourned her death in a statement to EN. She was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend. Anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.

RIP Anne! We don’t know what people struggle with. Depression is prevalent in our society. It’s an illness that needs treatment. So sad!!!!!
You are loved and will be missed Anne. My brother died by suicide and I have never stopped asking myself what I could have done to help him. I pray that those suffering mentally will receive help in time for their pain. Amen.
