Nick Nolte, 84, Makes Rare Public Appearance in Malibu | E! News

Nicknoli stepped out for a boy’s night out. The Prince of Tides actor made a rare public appearance recently, grabbing dinner with pals Shawn Penn and Josh Brolan at Nou Malibu July 16th. For the star-studded outing, Nick showed off his longer gray hair as well as a scruffy white beard. The 84year-old also wore a mint green button-down shirt with several buttons undone that he paired with black slacks and black sneakers, while Josh rocked a beige t-shirt and blue jeans. The trio worked together back in 2013, appearing in the film Gangster Squad. Nick and Shawn had previously co-starred in 1997’s U-Turn and The Thin Red Line in 1998, while Shawn and Josh both appeared in 1997’s Nightw Watch. So, the leading men have all known one another for decades. The Mandalorian alum is set to appear alongside Chris Hemsworth and Halib Berry in the upcoming action flick Crime 101. That being said, he has been open about the fact that he’s been a bit pickier about the roles that he takes on at this point in his career. Telling insider in 2022, he says in an interview, quote, “My connection is to the story itself. The stories in Hollywood are just so few that I don’t know of them anymore. [Music]
