The left has a cannibalism problem, always tearing apart somewhat similarly viewed people when they fall short of anything, or holding onto grudges like people aren’t allowed to grow. I’m very left leaning, and it’s better than some right wing tactics of standing by a person absolutely regardless of what they do – but it’s still self detrimental and doesn’t invite people to want to come over and do better. I love this lack of gatekeeping where we say thanks for joining this important fight even if it took you a while. I’d love to see more of it.

I definitely agree with her. Yes, these celebrities and influencers *should* have spoken up sooner but turning them away is counter-intuitive and goes against the whole purpose.

The whole point of spreading awareness is to bring people towards the movement to liberate Palestinians and put a stop to this genocide!
