Here’s how much your favorite athletes are making on the field and beyond. Cristiano Ronaldo recently signed a two-year extension with Al- Nasser FC in Saudi Arabia. While the exact value of the deal was not revealed, multiple outlets report in 2022 he received an annual salary of approximately $200 million when he first signed with the team. In the NBA, ESPN reports that Stephen Curry is the highest paid athlete this season, bringing in $59.6 $6 million through his Golden State Warriors contract. ESPN puts LeBron James next on the list, reportedly making $52.6 million with the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Well, the Athletic reports that Indiana Fever player Caitlyn Clark has a $28 million endorsement deal with Nike. On the court, the number one WNBA draft picks four-year contract is worth $338,056, coming out to $76,535 for her rookie year. Forbes reports tennis players Koko Goff and Naomi Osaka are also pulling in big earnings, making $25 million and $12 million, respectively, through brand deals. Olympic gymnast Simone Biles also made the majority of her income from endorsements with Forbes reporting that she made $11 million outside of competitions in 2024. In the NFL, Patrick Mahomes agency, Equity Sports, reports in 2020 that the quarterback signed a 10-year contract with the Chiefs worth an estimated $450 million. As Travis Kelce enters his 13th season with the Chiefs, he’ll receive the second half of his $34 million contract extension with his team, according to NFL Network Insiders. While fans speculated that the 35-year-old would not return after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, Travis says this during a March episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelsey. last year it just uh it didn’t end well for us and um I just I feel like there’s a responsibility in me to to play out the contract that I initially signed um to give Kansas City and the Chiefs organization everything that I got and uh and that’s what I’m going to do, man.
