Kaylee Gonzalez’s family is facing a horrifying threat to their safety after the University of Idaho students mom, Christy Gonzalezeves, delivered a scathing victim impact statement during Brian Cobberger sentencing for the 2022 murders of the 21-year-old and Madison Mogan, Zanna Krenodal, and Ethan Chapen. Christy allegedly received a text shared on NewsNation’s Banfield that reads, “Sitting near you in court and watching you is a joke. You know that Brian is innocent. I’m in contact with a lot of serial killers, including BTK, and I’ve been put in contact with a wannabe serial killer who was in Moscow, Idaho, and I have given him your address. After sharing the unnerving texts, Kayle’s dad, Steve Gonzalez, tells correspondent, Brian Enton, July 26th. We did pass it on to our lawyer and uh he started working with the investigators and they’re definitely going to if they already have it, track this person down, and uh they’ll be held accountable. um just one less crazy person on the on the streets that uh try to find a family to harass. Aw, now that the sentencing is over they must feign threats to remain relevant.
This family is so strong, I admire them all so much! They don’t deserve this after all they’ve already had to go through! What’s wrong with people that they’re crazy or heartless enough to send a text like this to them?!?! I wish them and the others affected by this tragedy nothing but peace, safety, and love!! PLEASE be kind to each other, everybody!❤
