L’Oreal are truly putting the ‘decay’ in Urban Decay.

L’Oreal, owner of Urban Decay, has changed the formula of the brand’s ICONIC All Nighter setting spray and will no longer be using the famous formula (the patent for which is owned by Skindinavia, who shared this news on their Instagram).

I personally consider All Nighter to be on the Mount Rushmore of beauty products (photo attached). This product has gone viral multiple times with users sharing stories about All Nighter (or other UD setting sprays) keeping their makeup in tact even after car accidents.

Urban Decay has fallen off the radar big time over the last few years, and in my opinion, All Nighter is their flagship product that has helped keep them relevant.

Does anyone else think it’s an absolutely terrible marketing/product decision?

    1. Yeah, they’re definitely hoping the popularity of the item keeps people buying it with the formula change

But I would not be shocked if people start breaking out from the new formula

So good luck with continuing to profit off that setting spray once people have no choice but to stop buying it because you fucked with the formula

Daaaaaaamn, RIP All Nighter: A True Legend, A Bonafide Icon

Probably my longest make-up relationship 😭

Will be buying directly from Scandinavia moving forward.

Hoping the formula for UD Perversion Mascara stays untouched 🥲

Why is 2025 suuuuuch such a cruel bitch????

I never tried the All Nighter tbh. I will continue purchasing the Bridal spray from Skindinavia, like I’ve been doing for almost 10 years. As long as they’re in business, I will never stop. I tried the Charlotte Tilbury one and didn’t see the hype.

L’oreal has more money than it can even use. They could have continued that partnership if they wanted to. They just didn’t want to pay for it.

Used to be a hardcore UD junkie, but they just are not worth it anymore. The quality of everything has tanked so much in the last 7-10 years, and there are so much better – and more affordable brands out there! If you’re a All Nighter girly, highly recommend switching to Morphe continuous setting spray. 20+ mile bike rides on 90+ degree days got me saying UD who?
