The Osbbors are saying goodbye to their patriarch. As Azie Osborne’s loved ones gathered to celebrate his life more than one week after his July 22nd death at the age of 76, his wife of 43 years, Sharon Osborne, emotionally led his funeral procession in Birmingham, England. Sharon, who wore a simple black dress with a long gold chain, fought through tears as she took in flowers left to honor her late husband at the Black Sabbath Bridge bench on Birmingham’s Broad Street. Alongside Sharon were her and Aussy’s children, Amy, Kelly, and Jack as thousands of fans chanted Azy’s name. [Applause] While the family dawned all black, Kelly, who wore her platinum blonde hair in a slick back bun, honored her father’s signature style by sporting a pair of purple tinted sunglasses and waved to onlookers as she and her brother Jack physically supported their mother through her grieving. Just weeks after Azy’s farewell performance in his native Birmingham, where he was joined by his family as well as Black Sabbath bandmates, his family confirmed he had died. The family wrote in a statement to E! News at the time, quote, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Aussie Osborne has passed away this morning. He is with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. [Music]
