      In all seriousness (shout out Jinx Monsoon) my favorite JK Rowling moment is where she accidentally dropped an F bomb replying to a child’s illustration.

      She was going back and forth between replying to children’s drawings from her ChristmasĀ  book and writing screeds about trans people. She copy and pasted by accident and accidentally cussed out a child.

      Totally healthy and mentally well behavior. Best Birthday wishes to the black mold on walls of her liar.Ā

      I wrote her off as soon as she showed her true colors but seeing all this makes me so sad for the twelve year old me who stayed up all night reading the newest books and spent a week being genuinely depressed she would never go to Hogwarts because it all felt so magical and real. Iā€™m glad she never had to know about the evil woman behind it all.Ā

      As the wonderful Jinkx Monsoon remarked recently, J.K. Rowling used initials for her pen name so that people would not assume that she was a woman, i.e. she didn’t like something about the way her name presented her gender, so she transitioned to a presentation she felt more comfortable with.
