Growing up in the era of MTV, VH1 and injecting music videos into my veins, I’m really enjoying this new set of artists like Chappell and Sabrina, their videos are fun and entertaining and make me want to tune in.

The song was worth the wait. I’m glad I held off from listening to the demos, live performances, etc so I could hear the studio version first.

Not the Midwest Princess making New York City Art now. It really is an inescapable stereotype.Â

_The Rise and Fall_ went triple platinum on my Spotify but listen, it was always gonna be hard for her to release any music that would be able to follow _Rise and Fall…_ and she did a good enough job with _The Taker,_ but this feels very much like an album track. It’s not bad, but I just worry that the visuals might be more memorable than the song.
IMO it’s a shame that it was released so soon after CMAT’s [Euro Country](https://youtu.be/_SVNTv44C4g?si=-SHCgu0WOJHVpR1S) because I think as a pop-country song Euro Country functions as a really nice vessel about struggling to establish an identity in a broken country.

I’m happy music videos are coming back in a big way, or at least that artists are putting a decent amount of effort into them again. As far as the actual song – it’s not hooking me in like most of her stuff that I’ve heard.
