Gird your loins. Filming for The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially underway in New York City, and the sequel looks to be just as much of a fashion feast as the 2006 original. And the looks coming out of the set so far are every bit as runway worthy as we’d hope they’d be. Let’s take a peek at a few of our favorites so far. Has Andy Sachs returned to runway? That branded garment bag certainly seems to suggest as much, not to mention the cell phone glued to her ear. She’s wearing a gorgeous Gabriella Hurst maxi dress and a pair of five figure necklaces from Marlo Laz and Gemma Win that collectively costs more than most magazine assistants make in a year. Meanwhile, the OG Meyer Stress Miranda Priestley appears to have moved on to Jacamoose, judging by those cherry red slingbacks. Anyway, she’s also got on a Sasui coat and Max Mara trousers and Tiffany sunglasses and looks absolutely fabulous if I do say so. And never worry, Emily Blunt is back as Emily Charlton, the woman who loves her job. She loves her job. She loves her job. As reported by Puck, the flamehaired former assistant has moved on to become a highowered Dior executive in the sequel. And here she’s wearing several pieces from the luxury label. That slouchy Djourney bag alone will set you back five grand. Since poor Emily never made it to Paris in the original Devil Wears Prada, we think it’s pretty fitting that she landed at one of the fashion capital’s most iconic houses.
