Bryan Kohberger’s Bleak Life in Solitary Confinement Revealed | E! News
Brian Cobberger is getting used to his new life in solitary confinement after the 30-year-old was sentenced to life in prison for the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students, Kaylee Gonzalez, Madison Mogan, Xanna Kernodal, and Ethan Chapen. He has been moved to solitary confinement. The Idaho Department of Corrections confirms on July 31st. The convicted murderer now lives in the long-term restrictive housing of JBL in the Idaho Maximum Security Institution. A spokesperson for the department told NBC affiliate KTVB7, “Immates live in single prison cells, are provided a shower every other day, and are allowed 1 hour of outdoor recreation per day.” According to the IDOC, officials noted that inmates have access to religious services, communication through the prison’s JPE system, as well as a commissary. Brian is among the 128 prisoners who reside in JBlock. Another notable inmate living in the facility is Chad Del, Lorie Vel’s husband, who is currently on death row after being found guilty for the murders of his first wife, Tammy Douglas Del, along with Lorie’s kids, Joshua, JJ Valow, and daughter, Ty Ryan. He is allowed a whole hour of recreation outside in fresh air a day! And shower every second day! Soon he will have access to a library, he will also be provided with a tablet and access to Netflix, Hbo, music of choice, youtube etc. BK is doing great.
