Martha Stewart shares her honest thoughts on Megan Markle and Gwyneth Paltro. The lifestyle personality didn’t hold back during an interview with Yahoo News Australia. During the interview, she admits how she really feels about the Duchess of Sussex and the Goop founder following in her footsteps. She said, “Gwin’s been very successful, by the way. She created quite an interesting body of businesses. She’s admired. She won an Oscar for heaven’s sake as an actress. She’s pretty powerful.” As for Megan Markle, she added, “Megan, I don’t really know very well, and I hope she knows what she’s talking about. Authenticity to me is everything, and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important.” Ultimately, Martha wish both of them well, ending with, “I don’t mind. Good luck.” Martha has previously commented on Megan Markle’s Netflix series, We Love Megan. When asked by Oxis Hollywood if she was curious to watch the show, she said, “I’ll watch an episode and see how she does.” When it comes to being considered an influencer, though, the Duchess of Sussex has made it clear how she feels about the title. She told People in March, “I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder, and if the brand ends up influential, then that’s great. But the royal, who shares kids Archie and Liet with husband Prince Harry, says she’s grateful for the journey toward success and the support she’s received along the way.
