Prince Harry recently emulated his late mother, Princess Diana, by traversing a landmine field in Angola, reminiscent of her iconic humanitarian act.
However, not all of his actions mirror those of the “People’s Princess”, who tragically passed away in 1997.
Since stepping back from Royal duties in 2020, Harry, still known as the Duke of Sussex, has been openly critical of the Royal Family through various platforms, including interviews, the 2022 Netflix docuseries featuring him and Meghan, and his memoir, Spare.
The memoir, in particular, sent shockwaves around the globe and is believed to have contributed to the strained relationship between Harry, now 40, and his brother, Prince William.
Yet, Harry isn’t the only Royal to document their life story. Diana, Princess of Wales, authorized the biography Diana: Her True Story, penned by Andrew Morton with her input.
While it’s not confirmed, it’s speculated that the prince raked in around $27million from his explosive memoir published in 2023.
However, this financial gain came with a price as it strained several of his Royal relationships.
This includes his already delicate relationship with his brother William, 43, and Kate Middleton.
It’s also thought that the book may have sparked the rift between Harry and his father, King Charles, who is 76.
The Royal Family has consistently avoided commenting on the memoir.
