‘Wednesday’ Season One Explained Ahead of Season 2 | E! News
With Jenna Ortega’s hit series Wednesday returning to screens on August 6th, we’re recapping season 1. After nearly three years in the making, here’s everything you need to know before returning to Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s parents, Morticia and Gomez, played by Katherine Zeta Jones and Louise Guzman, send her to their alma moater, Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s teacher, Marilyn Thornnehill, played by Christina Reachi, the original Wednesday in the movies, attempts to connect with the student, while at the same time, Wednesday begrudgingly befriends local barista and normie Tyler Galpin, played by Hunter Dunan. Wednesday shortly witnesses the death of a fellow student at the hands of a monstrous beast called the Hide. At the same time, Wednesday starts to experience visions from her 1600’s ancestor, Goodie Adams. Wednesday witnesses Goodie confront Pilgrim Joseph Crackstone, who actually massacred a group of outcasts, including Goodie’s mom. When Wednesday’s parents visit the school, a decades old rumor comes to light. Gomez was arrested on suspicion of killing Garrett Gates, who’s a descendant of Joseph Crackstone. Ever since, his family, including sister Laurel Gates, all suffer mysteriously tragic deaths. Their investigation leads to a startling truth. Laurel Gates is actually alive and she’s controlling the hide, though her alias remains unknown. Meantime, Wednesday finds her connection to Tyler growing. But once they kiss, Wednesday is presented with a game-changing vision. She realizes Tyler is the hide. During a confrontation, Miss Thornhill admits to controlling Tyler as revenge because she is actually Laurel Gates. Using Wednesday’s blood, Laurel was planning to resurrect Joseph Crackstone and destroy Nevermore. Working together with her newfound friends though, the students of Nevermore take down Tyler as the hide, destroy Joseph Crackstone, and defeat Laurel. The first part of Wednesday, season 2, featuring Lady Gaga, premieres on Netflix August 6th, followed by part two on September 3rd.
The second season of ‘Wednesday’ is coming to Netflix August 6. Here’s everything that happened in season one, which starred Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Gúzman. Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1420236/wednesdays-fate-at-netflix-revealed-after-season-2

I don’t Wednesday. There’s enough sociopaths in the world thanks to social media and internet culture.
