Pete Davidson Reveals the “Humiliating” Tattoo He Regrets Getting | E! News

That’s so dumb. You know, I could have just told people he said that to you. Pete Davidson isn’t in love with all the ink on his body. Nearly 5 years into his six-figure tattoo removal journey, the Saturday Night Live alum revealed to Hot Ones host Shawn Evans during his July 28th appearance on the show, the backstory between one of his least favorite tattoos. I don’t really I’ve never admitted this cuz it’s so humiliating. And I did like a set. I was like 19 or 20 and Chappelle was in the corner and this is before he was back. So seeing him was like crazy like what the and uh I got off stage and he was like I watched your whole set it was really good and I was like oh thanks. I was like you know how do you keep coming up with new stuff? I’m working on new stuff. I I don’t you know it’s it’s like difficult. and he goes, “Uh, jokes come and go, but swag is forever.” And guess who got that tattooed on his chest? And I covered it with jaws cuz I I needed something huge. And to black it out, I just put a giant shark over it. [Laughter] That’s pretty bad, dude. But he was like my idol, you know? He still is. That’s so dumb. You know, I could have just told people he said that to you. Also, when you see that, you think I thought of it. Yeah. He didn’t reveal if he would laser off his shark ink in the future, but he’s certainly been removing his notable collection in sections. In fact, the comedian started working on his torso last March and has spent six figures trying to remove all of his ink so far, revealing in an interview with Variety April 23rd, quote, “It’s a pretty uncomfortable amount of money to disclose. I’ve already spent 200,000 and I’m like 30% done. It’s going to suck. [Music]
