Celebrities will take to the baseball field to compete against some of the city’s top physicians.
It’s part of the “Battle for Brooklyn” charity softball game to raise money for Maimonides Breast Center.
Last year’s event raised more than $100,000 for cancer research and care annually. This year, they are also partnering with Clear the Shelters to promote animal rescue and adoption.
Dolores Catania, TV personality and captain of the celebrity squad, and Dr. Joshua Feinberg, breast surgeon and oncologist at Maimonides Cancer Center, joined “News All Day” on Tuesday to discuss the event.
