Two weeks after the Black Sabbath rocker passed away at age 76, the New York Times confirmed that his official cause of death was a heart attack, citing a death certificate filed by his daughter Amy Osborne at a registry in London, as well as coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s. Ozy’s family announced in a statement that the rock legend had died the morning of July 22nd. wife Sharon Osborne as well as kids Kelly Osborne, Jack Osborne, and Louis Osborne said in a statement shared to E! Newews at the time, quote, “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.” Just days before the update, Azy’s daughter, Kelly, slammed rumors that her dad’s health was rapidly declining and that he and her mom, Sharon, had made a suicide pact. she said on her Instagram stories July 11th. I completely understand her frustration. You can have a lot of health issues and it does not necessarily mean that they are fatal. Heart attacks are sudden events that can rarely be anticipated, so …. Kelly was right. Ozzy may have been struggling to regain his mobility due to an injury but he wasn’t dying. His sudden passing had to be such an unexpected and heartbreaking event. I feel so much for how devastating this has all been for them. 🙏🏻💔🙏🏻
