New accusations have emerged concerning the Royal Family’s most controversial figure, with an upcoming book filled with sensational claims about Prince Andrew due for release next week.

Allegations are sprinkled throughout Andrew Lownie’s upcoming book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, concerning his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and an assertion that the Duke of York engaged in a physical altercation with his nephew, Prince Harry, after the Duke of Sussex discovered “something Andrew said behind his back”.

A representative for Prince Harry, speaking to People Magazine, denied the allegation , insisting: “I can confirm neither of those things are true. Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”

These matters come after Andrew’s widely-reported connection with suspected “Chinese spy” Yang Tengbo and the ongoing “siege of Royal Lodge” which saw a frustrated King Charles remove his younger sibling’s million-pound-a-year personal allowance.

According to the Daily Telegraph’s Royal Correspondent Hannah Furness, enquiries are discreetly being raised by Palace sources about how additional separation could be established between The Royal Family and the progressively-unpopular Duke of York.

She clarifies that there exists a procedure, through which Parliament “can remove not just a Dukedom but even the title of Prince.”

This dramatic step “would need legislation,” she writes, “followed by Royal Assent from the King, but it is nevertheless technically possible.”

The threat to Prince Andrew’s standing would escalate significantly should his elder brother Charles pass away and Prince William ascend to the throne. Royal historian and biographer Christopher Wilson believes William would prove “ruthless” in severing connections with his controversy-laden uncle.

“I think to a large extent Charles has adhered to [his mother, the late Queen’s] safe policy – the moment you start tearing the family apart, where does it stop?” he says.

“With William,” Wilson added, “it will be a different approach – he has hard-nosed ideas about how the Royal family needs to appear in the frenzied social media world we now inhabit, and I think will be ruthless.”

To some degree, the procedure has already commenced. In 2022, whilst confronting US civil proceedings regarding sexual assault claims, the Duke of York’s military honours and Royal patronages were “returned to the Queen.”

He also consented to cease using his HRH title and discontinued undertaking any public engagements. Similar to Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, Prince Andrew kept his HRH title but agreed not to employ it in any official capacity.

However, since that time, the accusations have continued to mount and “something,” according to a Palace source quoted by The Telegraph, “still needs to be done.”

Queries have been raised regarding the personal benefits Prince Andrew may have gained from his decade-long tenure as an international trade envoy. A former Buckingham Palace staff member disclosed to Andrew Lownie: “There are dozens, if not hundreds, more unwise connections to uncover from Andrew’s years in the role.”

Observers have also pointed out the prince’s frequent proximity to renowned ski slopes and golf courses during his business trips. His diplomatic style has often been characterised as ” boorish and very self-centred”.

The prince earned the moniker “Air Miles Andy” due to his frequent lavish travels.

Christopher Wilson suggests that King Charles might take steps to distance his younger brother from the family if MPs were to probe into the Duke’s time as a trade ambassador, hinting at potential misuse of public funds. If such evidence were to surface, he states: “Charles could act in the best interests of preserving the monarchy”.

The unusual relationship between Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who continues to reside with him nearly 30 years post-divorce, has also drawn attention. In 2010, she was infamously caught on tape offering to sell access to the Prince to a journalist posing as a foreign businessman.

The Daily Mirror sought a comment from Buckingham Palace regarding these allegations, but representatives chose not to respond.
