Backstreet Boys’ Howie Dorough Reacts to NSYNC Fans at Their Las Vegas Show | E! News
The Backstreet Boys have taken over Las Vegas this summer with their run at the Sphere into the millennium and Howy D is taking the BSB experience to a whole new level with his new special fan event, Howie Eats at Hoffra House. I love this. We exclusively caught up with Pop Star to hear all about it and the unexpected guests that have come to their show. Everywhere I go, I always try to connect with the fans somehow or another. We do our shows and then we do the meet and greets. We throw in the afterparties. Well, that’s just not enough for me. So, I just do one more thing. I do a thing called how he eats. I’m kind of like the foodie within the group. I get a chance to break bread with them and and then just discuss and allow them to ask me questions and we get to know each other. The Backstreet Boys current residency in Las Vegas into the Millennium has had fans from around the world flocking to the sphere all summer. [Applause] I don’t feel worthy enough for it. I feel very lucky that I’m I’m blessed to be this have this opportunity and to see not only the press that’s embraced us but all the other celebrities that have come out to see this show the love that we’ve gotten from the other artists like you said Lady Gaga Dan and Shay Post Malone Usher Kulkin we actually both lived in the same condo years ago he’s like he’s like yeah I don’t know if you remember we met in the elevator in the condo I was like oh my god but his his wife was she really was into it I didn’t realize how much of a fan of ours she knew every word was dancing and just like just getting, you know, her husband all into it and everything. So, who would Howie like to see in the audience? Huge fan of Bruno Mars. Yeah, me and AJ saw him at the Pinky Room that he has here and uh got up on stage and uh did one of our songs with the band, which his band is amazing. And how he revealed what’s it been like seeing InSync fans at their show. It’s crazy when you look back how there was like uh separation between the fans. They had they had to feel like they had to choose between one or the other. you know, I went to college with Chris Kurpatre. We were in choir together. He jokes because of the fact that I didn’t ask him to audition for our group that he decided to to create in sync and um which was great. But it’s very honoring now to see that a lot of them are saying, you know what, I’m there for all of them. [Music]
