John Cena says his recent hair transplant has "completely" altered his life … and he's ticked he didn't get the procedure done sooner.

The WWE Superstar — who revealed back in April he had the scalp surgery after fans taunted him over his thinning hair — went in-depth on the matter with PEOPLE this week … and it ain't hard to tell he's loving his new look.

"It completely changed the course of my life," he said.

Cena told the magazine the operation was simple — docs simply "move your hair, one by one, from one area to another" — but he said it's opened up a whole new world of opportunities for him.

Specifically, he said he's actually landed more acting gigs by having a fresh, new 'do.

Cena said it takes a lot of work to maintain, explaining he's got a daily routine that includes "red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, conditioner" … but it sounds like it's all been more than worth it.

"I hate the fact that if there wasn't so much shame around it, I'd have gotten it done 10 years ago," the 48-year-old said. "I thought I was alone, but seven or eight out of 10 [men] suffer from thinning or baldness."

WWE fans will have only a limited amount of time to admire it in the squared circle … as Cena went on to tell PEOPLE his wrestling career will for sure be over in just a matter of months.

He does not look like he has a natural physique. But he is tested, haha. I see you.

    2. Fair play to him for being open about it, he first mentioned it on a WWE aftershow if my memory serves me right

He used to wrestle with a short haircut so it was never noticeably there, but then he grew it out for acting and when he went back to wrestling it was so obvious and I’m sure some wrestlers ripped him for it in promos

    3. Wait, i though his hair thinning at Elimination Chamber 2025 (march) ? i’ mconfused hwo he got a full head of hair in 4 months. He first mentioned getting surgery in April during a press conference. What am I missing here?

    4. Everyone should have a chance to get the gender affirming care that they want/need. No shame should be involved.

He’s one of the first celebs I’ve seen that actually has admitted to a hair transplant instead of trying to spin it as just having lucky genetics. Nothing at all wrong with gender affirming care

    6. Folks can understand how this can make a difference in a person’s life. But not why gender affirming care can be life changing.

    7. A lot of your identity and well being is attached to your body. I totally get why people do treatments.
