Fashion Designer Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra Found Dead on Montauk Yacht | E! News
My name is Martha. I am the founder and CEO of East by East. Details about a body discovered at Long Island’s Montalk Yacht Club have come to light. Martha Nolan Osata, a Manhattanbased fashion designer, was found dead on a boat docked at the exclusive marina on August 5th. The Suffach County Police Department confirms in a press release. East Hampton Town police responded to a 911 call made by a man who found the 33-year-old woman unconscious around midnight. Despite others attempting to administer CPR, she was pronounced dead on the boat. SuffK PD shared that since her cause of death was determined as inconclusive during the preliminary investigation, an autopsy will be conducted for further information. The Monta Yacht Club, a 16acre waterfront property, expressed its condolences following her death. A spokesperson told CBS News, “We are saddened to learn of the tragic incident that took place. Our team is cooperating with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation and remains committed to the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. Martha’s fashion brand, East by East, focuses on swimsuits and resort wear. For the designer, her company was a love letter to New York City and the East End of Long Island. East by East stands for New York for the Hamptons. Our tagline is built in the city, made for the sun. I absolutely adore it. I think it resonates with so many people on so many levels. Because I feel at some point everyone in their lives are, you know, grinding city life, but everyone’s just destined for the sun. I know I am and pretty much everyone else is. East by East recently opened a pop-up location nearly 2 months earlier at Gurnie’s Montalk Resort and Seawater spa just 6 miles from the yacht club. E-News has reached out to Suffach County Police for comment. Martha was 33 years old.

People her age just do not die their is a reason for it. I thinking foul play. With all the cameras on the dock how did she get there.
Another 33 year old. It is sad there is a 27 year old club as they call it and a 33 year old club. So sad, so young. Sad for the mourners, but she is now in heaven.
Wow what a beautiful woman!! So sad and unfortunate. Very strange she was found alone like that. Hope it wasn't murder or painful for her.
