“JD Vance’s team had the army corps of engineers take the unusual step of changing the outflow of a lake in Ohio to accommodate a recent boating excursion on a family holiday” on his 41st birthday.

US Army Corps engineers have modified water levels in the past for community events and emergency preparedness trainings but this is not usually done for individual events. Vance’s team claimed it was to allow save navigation by Secret Service forces.

An ethics lawyer from the Bush admin was quoted calling this action “hypocritical and ‘pretty outrageous’ for Vance to be receiving these particular accommodations for his family holiday when the administration’s cuts have led to drastic cuts in the National Park Service (NPS).”

Truly loathe everyone in this vile administration!

    2. The humiliation of living in SW Ohio never ends! Hillbilly Elegy was awful enough, I despise having to read about this man going to the same places as me.

    4. Imagine the George W. Bush team criticizing you over ethics. What a time to be alive!
