Which 50+ year old, beloved American actor is about to be exposed for doing horrible things, with BBC & 2 other production teams set to bring forward the allegations?

    1. I’m always just waiting for someone I really like to be named by Panorama in these kinds of things

In a weird way I’ve been fortunate enough to say that the people I admire have kept their noses clean throughout this period but I’m ready for that bubble to burst

Feel like the “No way” hint is pointing at Keanu, being a Bill and Ted reference

I don’t know who it is but I can think of a couple of people I really hope it isn’t.

No way, secret@secret, me too two – damn these are some cryptic word hints.

I’m probably incorrect however I’m guessing Ben Affleck, recently in The Accountant 2 for the two hint and recently divorced perhaps with potentially an unknown root cause.

Idk why my mind sprang to Tom Hanks. Only because he did the voiceover/narration for the American Attenborough documentary (famously BBC-run). I know he’s a lot older than his 50s (actually I am surprised by how close to 70 he is!)

    6. My guess is Matt Damon, just because he’s the only actor I can think of that has “never been a hint of an allegation against him”

I feel like “beloved American” means the actor isn’t A list.

If they could legitimately use the term A list, I think they would have.

Unfortunately those documentaries often “disappear” because someone’s publicist called someone important.
      I wouldn’t hold my breath

      Joaquin Phoenix
      Leo DiCaprio
      Jamie Foxx
      Bradley Cooper
Hugh Jackman? Maybe him and his wife split for a reason
Ben Affleck? His brother has verrrrry credible allegations already
Dwayne Johnson? Feels like the “No Way” type of response, the others I can believe
      Will Smith
      Matt Damon
      Adam Sandler
      Paul Rudd
      Jack Black
      Idris Elba

The fact that it’s being produced by a British company indicates that this celebrity would have to be equally well known in both countries, or possibly even more well known there despite him being American. Could it be someone involved with a feel-good football team?

    11. Keanu is Canadian, so I don’t think he would count as American and an UK-based tv channel would make that distinction.

But “beloved” makes me think of someone who people wouldn’t necessarily think of. I am thinking someone along the lines of the Toms, Cruise and Hanks, but Cruise especially given his ties to Scientology and because Panorama has covered the cult before or DiCaprio.

Robert Downey Jr? Mark Ruffalo? Adam Sandler? Matthew McConnaughey? Jude Law? Bradley Cooper?

Walton Goggins is 53. The fact that it says 50+ somehow leads me to Tom Hanks because my husband and I were just watching Castaway and had a whole convo about how we’ve always felt there’s a darkside to him.
