trashed the website because there were so many users online what about this article kim Kardashian Skiims website crashes as fans rush to get sexy Dolce and Gabbana lingerie collab skims website crashed and I’m in the middle of picking out my pieces,” one frenzy fan wrote with a crying emoji another fan shared to X “Huh i was on the Skim site they had a corset dress for $500 i was trying to get the mesh bodysuit but the site crashed then it came up and it was sold out personally I found that release to be very tacky but that’s my own opinion and let’s be for real the Kardashians absolutely owned every single Sunday night reality frenzy with all of their weird awkward family fights brands were lining up makeup perfume waist trainers gummy vitamins if Kim posted a link it sold out in seconds but today if you scroll things are looking a little quiet the comments are lower and the memes usually make fun of her instead of singing her praises gen Z mostly shrugs at whatever Kim Kardashian scandal rocks the internet so ladies and gentlemen let’s absolutely buckle up and prepare for impact let’s walk through why the switch happened why her name doesn’t just simply print money the way that it used to all of her terrifying scandals and if any of this can possibly be reversed the first thing to notice is Kim’s impeccable timing her birth and rise to fame absolutely matched they’re as long as they’re talking about me honey that was the beginning of starting to share all of your thoughts and opinions on MySpace the birth of Facebook and eventually Twitter i want to get a tape for this because I hope you do so you can see me when I’m famous and all you remember me of this beautiful little girl we first knew her because she was the daughter of Robert Kardashian who was OJ Simpson’s lawyer kim Kardashian got her first taste of fame through her father that was the start of media friends and I think Kim wanted that i think she saw that as exciting all right you won’t be in the movie it’s all Kimberly take a picture when you were a little girl what did you envision your life oh my gosh i mean I always loved fashion and I I had a job at 16 at like a kids clothing each and every season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians was constantly giving us new viral bits chris crying Courtney yelling Kim getting all upset because she lost a diamond earring in the ocean it all felt real enough and it showed us that these celebrities and very wealthy people were actually just like us too at the time actors were held at a very high pedestal actors and celebrities didn’t want anyone knowing that behind closed doors they argued with their spouses and yelled at their siblings just like the rest of us and honestly this is the exact reason why celebrity culture is dying now we’ve gone completely full circle and celebrities have returned to being completely unrelatable i just find it interesting how clear the current downfall of celebrity culture is because more and more none of us can relate to these people who are uber wealthy and uber privileged and all that and it’s gotten to the point it isn’t enticing or interesting anymore it’s just downright insulting almost to just see these grand displays of wealth that we can’t even begin to comprehend as most of us are trying to pay for our groceries and dream of owning a home one day i think the Super Bowl last night was a really good demonstration of this because of how clearly celebrities in every single commercial were there to kind of remind us like oh you like us you want you want to see us you enjoy us right but I don’t think it’s working in the same way they want it to i think the more and more they desperately try to grasp back this power and attention that they had at one point the more and more bitter a lot of us become towards them yeah watching Alex Earl eat a burger doesn’t really make me like her more anyway for the first time in a long time Keeping Up with the Kardashians showed us that celebrities and these very somewhat important people actually had a lot of problems just like us and it gave us front row seats to legit drama that like we felt like we never got to see so the show quickly garnered millions of views and Kim millions of fans tried copying her makeup and bought her exact bodycon dresses it even got to the point of such insanity that women were getting cosmetic procedures just to look exactly like Kim Kardashian and then they would die from it kim Kardashian lookalike Christina Ashton dies of cardiac arrest hours after plastic surgery the news of her death was shared by her family on April 26th through a GoFundMe page that was created to raise funds for her funeral next week rest in peace in fact Kim at her peak became so incredibly popular that upon release Skiims the website absolutely crashed and shut down she was just trying to sell some skimpy t-shirts by 2018 her empire had touched every single shelf kkw Beauty hit $100 million in a few minutes skim shapewear finished 2020 valued above 1 billion magazines called her a branding genius and she was on every single cover the woman who started as a tabloid punchline had become a lesson in modern entrepreneurship but it was because of this mass popularity that nobody noticed the warning signs the first crack in Kim’s spotless branding was probably in the shape of her first controversy which let’s be honest was the first of many actually once they started Kim’s scandals never paused long enough for people to actually forget the last one it was like a downward spiral there was the kimono debacle where instead of calling her brand Skiims she decided to use a Japanese word and try to trademark it for her shapewear line which obviously upset quite a few people she quickly changed the name to Skiims which personally I think makes so much more sense and honestly it suits her brand so much more but obviously it still left a weird sour taste at a lot of people’s mouths before that she was constantly accused of cultural appropriation for constantly wearing cornrow braids without giving any credit anywhere where it’s due she even wore fani braids and decided to give them her own name when they already had their own name to begin with remember when Kim Kardashian coined this hairstyle bow der braids and western media just ran with it what we have here is a lie i’ve been wearing this hairstyle since I was a kid as did my mother before me her mother before her and so on and so forth so today I thought I’d talk about the actual hairstyle and put it into its historical context these are actually fani braids and no their origin story doesn’t begin with an 80s romcom they’re named after the fani people who are one of the largest ethnic groups in the Sahel region in West Africa the braic style itself pulls inspiration from the Wuhabi a small subgroup of the fani also various shupa styles found in different Ethiopian and itrian tribes the early Fulani tribes would actually weave these braids into their dresses and use them as a way of symbolizing their spirituality so let’s not buy into the idea that this hairstyle is new because it’s been around for a very long time i forget that the Kardashians are white this is obviously a pretty touchy subject and a lot of people have a hard time coming to an agreement on it but either way it simply made Kim Kardashian’s reputation suffer even more now Kim Kardashian is part Armenian is it okay for her to wear cornrows i personally think that it depends on what boundaries that culture has set so I can speak for black culture the reason why you know some of us are offended and have problems with white women wearing braids is because it’s documented black women are getting fired from their jobs for wearing braids we are called ghetto we are not seen as professional with our natural cultural hairstyles that are part of black culture and then when white women wear them they are glorified praised and even sometimes have the credit attributed to them so that discrepancy is what where the issue comes into play her next problem was authenticity for years Kim insisted that she never had any major surgeries ever no plastic surgery at all she usually told everyone that she never had fillers but when you go ahead and look at sidebyside images you know that that is not a transformation that can be simply made with just a little bit of weight loss weight gain no honey there is something seriously going on here and that is so wrong to lie about and not just lie about but like lie about for years like die on that hill lie about Kim Kardashian is on the cover of Allure danielle at Allure did an article called Kim Kardashian and I analyze each other’s faces danielle tries to crack the code behind Kim Kardashian’s face and her beauty standards kim says that right now she only has a little bit of Botox that she has no lip or cheek filler or filler on her face in general she said she’s never filled either of her cheeks these are her natural cheekbones she said she’s never had eyelash extensions and that they’re naturally that long do you believe Kim let me know you cannot tell me that anybody believes that look at this photo what is the safer beauty standards for women oh I’ve never even had any eyelash extensions it’s giving pick me Kim that’s why I don’t have the rhythm to be like “Yeah you just I completely forgot what Kim’s body looked like just a couple years ago until this old video resurfaced of her and Addison dancing i just can’t believe how much they gaslight us into not admitting that they’ve had plastic surgery because they say it was just weight loss but Kim is still very skinny here i know people are going to say “Well women don’t owe you an explanation for what they do to their bodies.” And I totally agree but the reason why this is harmful is because there are little girls out there or teenagers or even adults who think that they can look like this without plastic surgery like they’re really selling this diet and exercise narrative i really think if they don’t want to talk about it all they should just say “I’m not commenting on my body.” like that would be enough without the gaslighting or just simply say yes if somebody says “Hey did you get a BBL?” “Yeah I did.” Why do you have to explain why do you have to go further than that but if it continues and you’re constantly being like poked and prodded and people are like “Bro like stop lying to us and like creating these absolutely unrealistic standards like do you not see the damage that you do because you’re followed by millions of people this isn’t just some girl from like school or somebody down the road that you’re like “Would you get a nose job?” Like why does it matter but it’s like when people who are fitness influencers who are trying to tell you that they lost weight simply from working hard but they were taking a GLP1 for the past year come on kardashian’s before and after plastic surgeries plastic surgeries kim Kardashian okay before gorgeous after I’ve had it i’ve had it you guys are you kidding me chloe Kardashian oh no like I you can’t continue like the credibility is done chloe are like stop oh there’s nothing wrong there gorgeous regardless but like oh my gosh Kylie this is the problem it’s so wrong to lie like this it is so wrong i’ve I’ve seen I’ve seen all I need to see and then of course the butt implants topic consistently was coming up it got so bad and people got so confused that on her TV show she specifically went to get an X-ray to prove that she never had any butt implants there’s nothing in my butt it’s all Kim but this didn’t stop certified doctors from hopping online and explaining that fat transfers not silicone can give her that Brazilian butt lift so this X-ray proves absolutely nothing there are so many rumors that I have butt implants uhhuh and I’m so tired of them so I really just want to get like a butt x-ray so I can show the whole world or just like feel her ass up and see if it’s like you’ll know you’re a doctor to see if it’s real can we x-ray Courtney’s boobs so I can see what an implant looks like since I have breast implants we are going to X-ray me so we can see what an implant looks like and then we’re gonna X-ray Kim’s butt and see if she really has implants or not first those are your lungs over here in this sort of solid white area that’s your implant you ready for Kim’s dun there’s a spine e I see an Oreo that freaks me out no implant this is shocker kim I am what did the comment say kim behind the camera i’ll pay you she literally just relocated her own fat so it’s technically natural just look at how they looked in season 1 compared to now it’s just a BBL just stop lying we know it’s a BBL at this point viewers felt gas lit influencers like Alex Earl had absolutely no problem opening up with every single tweakment boob job it didn’t matter everybody was sharing it and they were being honest honesty became the new flex and transparency was something everybody was looking for in the people that they followed and Kim’s whole secret shtick it just felt really old and boring and it felt wrong watching somebody that couldn’t even have the decency to admit that they’ve had tweakments done especially to the people that love them support them and follow them and really it just reminds me of Kylie Jenner like the dishonesty is crazy and then the biggest problem hit Kim and it was the pandemic during the pandemic so many people lost jobs and were forced to stay home meanwhile the Kardashians kept posting private island trips 12t party cakes and closets bigger than apartments the thing that made them popular in the first place the feeling that they were somewhat anything at all like us was completely gone now they were just tonedeaf and couldn’t simply understand how bad the pandemic was and how it seriously affected the lives of so many people it’s Kim Kardashian West and I just wanted to talk to you and Northwest um have a serious conversation with you guys about social distancing i know it’s California we’ve got the most beautiful weather but we have to start to train ourselves you went outside in your backyard and that’s totally fine i know that can you not jump on the bed give me like 2 seconds to seriously do this okay so guys we just want you to social distance there’s so many fun amazing projects you can do you can spend time with your kids and have so much fun trust me I want to get out more than you know it’s really important to also do that felt like the biggest slap in the face like I’m so glad I did not see that during co because I’m actually like pissed looking at that like you can’t even have 5 tips from someone born into a millionaire family of course the problems didn’t just simply stack up and ruin the Kardashians reputation because their worst nightmare began to come true their businesses started failing skims her brightest platform began to perform worse and worse her early drops had soft fabrics inclusive shades and amazing sizing that went up to 5x reviews were coming in and everybody was hyped but the latest drops some customers noticed thinner materials loose stitching and clothes that just didn’t fit right and what’s even worse were price hikes during inflation people could not handle this this made her customers very very mad the company still books sales sure but the business is far from performing as well as it did back in its heyday is it just me or does anybody like not like SKIMS like I’ve been wanting to like it i ordered something from it multiple times and every single time the quality was just terrible the fit was off and I ended up returning it like I want to like it i want to buy something it’s gotten so bad that people say that they do not want the Kardashian’s name anywhere on their products here’s a new blind item that alleges that the Kardashians and the Jenner’s power to launch brands and endorsement deals is over and no one wants to use their name the reality family will always be rich but no one comes to them any longer for endorsement deals they get asked for financing but no one wants to use their name their power to launch brands using their name is over and the new generation just can’t catch on and again this is allegedly the Kardashians and Jenners and the related headline reads “Every brand the Kardashians and Jenners have created whether you love them or hate them you’ve got to admit the Kardashian Jenner family knows how to get off their ass and work.” But seriously the Kenner clan knows how to keep their names relevant especially in business when the Keners set their mind to something whether it be selling baby products or makeup lines they end up killing it what about Khloe Kardashian’s newest popcorn brand what is it called corn like with a K oh sorry it’s called Cloud yeah nobody is buying that i will never buy that it’s just another stupid cash grab because they’re running out of money like it’s annoying if you want to do anything go act go do something like have a talent but it’s all right i’m sure keeping up with the Kardashians like their biggest money maker for the longest period of time is probably still making a killing right well not really kim’s family drama kept the spotlight swirling but not always in her favor the divorce from Kanye West made everyone feel bad for her of course but his outburst later on just dragged her name into some really bad rumors i honestly can’t do this anymore i am I still in this like place where I’m stuck for years like he goes to a different state everywhere i have to be like together so I can raise the kids you know he’s an amazing dad he’s done an amazing job and he’s still just like better without you there i think he deserves someone that can go support his every move and go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming i can’t do that he should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything and and I can’t i feel like a failure it’s like a marriage yeah I feel like a loser but I can’t even think about that like I want to be happy that’s intense it literally made me feel a little bad for her you know it’s sometimes Kanye will say to me “Can I have approval over what you say about me on your show?” And I’ll say “Well you just talked about me in this song this song this interview this interview and you didn’t ask my permission.” And I never say anything bad i never say anything negative if I say “I’m exhausted i feel guilty about that i am exhausted.” And by the way I’m the one where could be going down and I get in the car and every day the kids want to blast dad’s music and I’m like “He’s the best.” Yeah and I put it on and we’re singing along and inside I’m like dying in late 2023 Kanye West claimed in an interview that Kim Kardashian pimps out his children there was no evidence that backed that up but a lot of viewers of the show believed that he was just simply having a crazy downward spiral like usual you will never believe what Kanye alleges Kim did to North at the Mech Gala yesterday Kanye’s attorney sent Kim Kardashian a cease and desist letter this was posted by TMZ as you can see it’s a cease and desist from Kanye’s attorney to Laura Wasser who represents Kim cease and desist unauthorized use of minor children and custody violations on behalf of Kim Kardashian this letter constitutes a formal demand to cease and desist from actions that violate Mr west parental rights exploit his children and breach the joint custody agreement established in your client’s divorce settlement so Kanye is accusing Kim of exploiting her children additionally he is accusing Kim of something at the mech gala he said that she left North unattended in a vehicle while she attended the Met he also allegedly says that Kim is ignoring his demands not to show North on the their Tik Tok accounts and as we all know he’s been claiming that he has not been allowed access to the four children that he shares with Kim now I don’t know much but I do know that Kim Kardashian has an entourage of people security drivers nannies i find it very hard to believe that she would leave north but still the allegations consistently pop up online and they are very hard to be forgotten when a rumor involves minors even a baseless one can mess up your search results forever and at this point it just seems like Kim was suffering from one controversy after another at some point it kind of gets boring like every single time you swipe through TikTok and you’re like “Oh Kim’s involved with something else kim wore this kim did that.” It’s like “Okay.” Like who asked like at this point I’m bored it’s just the same news over and over again and it’s not 2015 anymore her new release of their Keeping Up with the Kardashian show on Hulu has just been steadily declining nobody is watching why is Keeping Up with the Kardashians so much more popular than the Kardashians let’s talk about it so first let’s start off with the fact that when Keeping Up with the Kardashians started they were not nearly as famous as they are now they even said like in this most recent episode of the Kardashians they did not think that Keeping Up would have the success that it did so they were more open and out there because they didn’t really care they didn’t think it was going to become this global phenomenon that everyone was watching so they were more themselves they were just more outgoing and free because they didn’t have to worry about the controversy that surrounds them now that they’re so high-profile another thing like the biggest thing that contributes to why the Kardashians is not as popular as Keeping Up is social media when Keeping Up with the Kardashians was airing like really the first like half of it social media was not as big yes it was coming onto the scene but it really didn’t get bigger until the later seasons so now with the Kardashians we see all this stuff on social media you can find out a whole story within 5 seconds and then watch it months later on the Kardashians so you’re like “Oh I already knew all this stuff.” Yes you get a little more insight with reality TV because of the fact that they do give like commentary and everything but you already know like the plot of it you know what’s going to happen because you’ve seen it on social media social media has taken away the essence of reality TV because we see it all happen live we hear about it whether they want it out there or not the news outlets are reporting it we’re seeing it everywhere and lastly something everyone agrees with is the family dynamic has definitely changed keeping up the Kardashians to the the Kardashians on Hulu is like lower stakes it’s boring i’ve seen tons of viewers complain that there’s all this like fake tension and fake scripting around different brand launches just to create drama that isn’t even real when drama does hit like Courtney and Kim fighting over a Dolce and Gabbana contract audiences see scripted product placement and no genuine conflict honestly clips only go viral when there’s some sort of drama behind a business deal which just goes to show you how commercialized this entire show has become it’s not authentic if you ask me it seems like the general public has become very bored of the Kardashians and Kim honestly it was just hit after hit for Kim she even paid a $1.26 million fine in 2022 for promoting a coin without proper disclosure and now regulators have to watch her every move with every crypto ad and honestly it seems like this video is going on for a really long time but it just doesn’t end there the final nail in the coffin was Kim Kardashian and the Diddy allegations we all know about what happened with Diddy shawn Diddy Combmes has been famous since the ‘9s first for running Bad Boy Records then for hitting every red carpet in a white suit with champagne in hand his parties were legend you got a paper invite and showed up at some rented mansion in the Hamptons and the guest list read like a Grammys seating chart but over the years more and more controversy began highlighting those parties underage models rooms you were told not to enter and literally NDAs longer than the entire dictionary no proof ever stuck out and fully entered the mainstream but the gossip never stopped in late 2023 federal agents raided two diddy mansions one in Miami and one in Los Angeles the warrant was tied to an ongoing trafficking probe court papers are basically still sealed but TMZ caught helicopters and SWAT trucks on camera a former producer named Rodney Lil Rod Jones filed a civil suit saying Diddy ran a empire that was chalk full of drugs gut and hush money so where does Kim Kardashian fall into all of this in the late 2000s Kim and Paris Hilton used to pop up at Diggy’s all-white parties in the Bahamas in Miami here is a high quality picture of the three of them together um I’m not saying anything but I’m also not saying anything you know what I’m saying industry sources say that Diddy loved booking reality stars because they would drag in a swack of paparazzi which just ended up boosting the press for all of his events and that’s the link kim showed up smiled for some Getty Images and then she went home and what’s even worse is Kim was seen unfollowing Diddy only hours before the raid actually happened a little bit sus but whatever but let me tell y’all why Kim Kardashian basically stopped following Diddy judgment is here y’all 24 hours before the raid Kim Kardashian decides to unfollow Diddy right well come to find out this person by the name of Lou Taylor is apparently Diddy’s manager and this Lou Taylor woman is also on the board of Hill Song’s church home follow me go with me they doing all of this child in the name of the Lord why just just follow the story lou Taylor apparently is paying off allegedly some of Diddy’s victims from the slush fund through some church fund okay not only that Kim Kardashian mama has been making these girls pay 10% ties to some church that Lou Taylor and her husband is basically owner co owner or whatever so I was like let me look into this Lou Taylor person i’m thinking Lou Taylor was a guy who was a woman with a husband a whole husband and they doing ministry and everything okay so Lou Taylor is the CEO of Tristar Sports and Entertainment um she’s like a business manager icon so the Kardashians is linked to this lady because mind you there was no public connections until 2019 with the Kardashian family then all of a sudden um they was named in filings um in the KKW Beauty fragrance for Kim Kardashian also Kylie Cosmetics and Kendall Jenner Inc this was all um linked to Tristar okay and it also continues to today now in February 2024 this Tristar lady um I can’t think of her name y’all know I just said her name she helped Kim secure a 70.4 million mansion not only that she also um helped secure a 48.7 million loan through a trust associated with Tristar the company that this lady had child this is getting deep i’m sorry Kimble so baby why y’all looking at pictures of who at the party and that is why the mama make them um tithe not y’all tithing not y’all even tithing the 10% back to the church that her and the husband on top of some pay your tithe now are y’all crazy baby they is doing this on the holy soil of child in the name of the 10% of the name of the that but at the end of the day no lawsuit or police file names her explicitly the FBI raid warrants list a bunch of other employees but not any Kardashian still this wasn’t a good look for Kim and once newer influencers began to pile up in the 2020s nobody really cared about her anymore emma Chamberlain Monae Mcichael and hundreds of micro influencers showed us their messy bedrooms stains on their t-shirts authenticity and realness which is something that was a breath of fresh air influencers just felt more accessible than these celebrities that are sitting around in their $20 million mansions plus algorithms push relatability now more than ever that leaves polished celebrity accounts and all of their like facetuned images like kind of in the dust it all looks staged and completely unrelatable oh yeah and her Kardashians game in the app store it’s getting taken down so is this the end probably not but it is a pretty clear downward spiral kim is still one of the biggest names on the internet and if you think Kardashian she’s definitely the one to pop up in your head but the cultural grip she held before where every post set a trend it just isn’t as strong as before people can admire her hustle while at the same time get tired of all of her controversies the internet cycles fast and icons that were once very popular 10 years ago will fade into nothing unless they decide to reinvent themselves and keep up with the Joneses so is this the end of Kim in all honesty like 15 years of content exposure can exhaust any brand eventually even the best soap opera can absolutely
