“I BROKE THIS HOME” — MGK Reveals Truth About Megan Fox Split & Rehab
MGK has finally revealed the truth about his split from Megan Fox and admits to his stint in rehab. You ever have that moment when you realize you’re the disaster in your own love story? Well, buckle up because Machine Gun Kelly just dropped the rawest track of his career on Lost Americana. And folks, it’s basically his confessional booth on Treading Water. MGK doesn’t just apologize, he flat out admits, “I broke this home.” Pretty heavy stuff. He’s not just getting vulnerable for clout. He’s biting into the regrets, the smoke, the mirrors, all of it. Let’s get into the lyrics that hit like a gut punch. In it, he says, “This will be the last time you hear me say sorry. That’ll be the last tear you waste on me crying. I broke this home.” Yeah. Then, just when you think he’s out, no, he’s back with more lyrics that says, “I’ll change for our daughter so she’s not alone.” We’re talking about Saga Blade here, the tiny human who arrived in March 2025. Just months before that, MGK’s now ex fiance apparently read some texts from other women that crashed their pregnancy joy faster than a speeding bullet. Now, the breakup hit around Thanksgiving 2024. And now, well, MGK is using the mic as his therapy. He’s got visuals, too. Picture him packing suitcases, staring at his kids’ faces in the driveway. One lyric read, “I just ruined their holiday, and lies don’t die, they grow, and everything you try to hide eventually shows.” Oof. That lyric is a stone cold roast of selfdeception. And out of nowhere, he then says, “The beast kill the beauty, the last petal fell from the rose.” I mean, we see you, poet. This is like tear inducing poetry right there. Am I right? Now, here’s the twist. He wasn’t just heartbroken. He was in rehab, secluded, detoxing over the holidays. He wrote, “I wrote this in room 3, spending Christmas in rehabilitation.” Late November to early January, it turns out MGK was off the grid with no phone. He was actually in a rehab facility. So, while you know, tabloids ran wild, he was actually just trying to rebuild himself. He said on podcast about why the song is his truth, serum. Basically, he said, “I guess I don’t know how much I would actually say. It’s like the music speaks better than how I would be able to articulate it.” He also calls out the gossip machine and let’s be real that things, you know, pretty relentless. He said, “Ironically, neither me nor Megan have said anything. There could have been zero drama and you never know.” And there’s a hilarious anecdote about a fan stopping him midcigarette to ask, “How did you fumble Megan Fox?” He basically just laughs it off and just says, “Godamn, classic.” But here’s the silver lining. They are co-parenting. They’re reportedly spending a lot of time together under one roof. Maybe this isn’t a tragic sequel. Maybe it’s the start of a new chapter.
