    1. She’s an idiot just like her ghoul of a husband.

I can’t believe he’s in a position of importance. I’m not taking health advice from anyone who sounds like a garburator.

    2. If I did an interview with her I’d get someone to repeat everything in RFK Jr. vocal style like I was working with a translator.

RFK Jr must have the bomb ass dick cause this woman’s brain cells have been bombed out and depleted. Like Hiroshima level destruction

“I just don’t even think about these people” is such a weird take when the people have a point

    6. I can’t believe this woman ever had a joint podcast with Tig Notaro. She has completely strayed from being a likable person to whatever this is… I guess marrying an anti-vaxxer, maga freak will do that to you.

    7. Imagine ruining your career for a dangerous, foolish old nut with a track record of infidelity. Oof.

I have a “is science ever settled” anti-vax parent and I can’t tell you how many conversations I’ve had with them just explaining like a sixth-grade understanding of the scientific method.

Literally just explaining to them what the scientific method is step-by-step. Explaining to them what “consensus” means and how it is achieved. Explaining what “peer review” is and the requirement of being able to replicate results in order to confirm a study’s validity. Explaining how research journals work. Explaining that scientific advancements and technology have improved our ability to observe, measure, and confirm results. Explaining that the scientific method not only encourages but *requires* reevaluation, but that doesn’t justify disregarding a current consensus, especially when it’s so widely supported by evidence and holds up in review.

These people don’t even care to comprehend elementary school science and then they threat the questions they have as conclusions. They treat their ignorance about something as an argument against it. Like my parent wondering out loud if the reason that cancer rates are increasing is due to microwaves. But instead of treating their question as a jumping off point for learning about how microwaves work, they treat their lack of knowledge as *the conclusion* that microwaves probably do in fact cause cancer.

The only thing I’ve ever been able to say to get through to them is “you don’t know what you don’t know.” They somehow seemed to get that the history and scope of any single subject of research cannot be fully summarized by a fellow layperson in a two-hour conversation over margaritas.

She acts confused every time she’s asked to respond to criticism, like she doesn’t understand any of it. Weaponized incompetence – one of the oldest tricks in the book.

    10. “I would totally drink raw milk” immediately followed by “but I don’t like milk.” So, right, she WON’T drink it, but not because of bacteria, just cause “I don’t like it.”
