There really is nothing worse than people who don’t take care of their animals. I wonder if the dogs’ owners will be held accountable.
Bad dog owners are truly the worst. I love dogs but they’re still animals and it’s important to train them
A family members dog killed my pet chicken and I’m still upset about it. Especially with how cavalier about it he was. Chickens are lovely social animals and ppl don’t value you them in the same way that they do dogs.
It would stress me out living next door to someone who has an untrained dog who has a taste for blood especially with a child

My neighbors growing up had 3 dogs that broke out and killed a bunch of our animals, chickens, ducks and 2 goats that I raised from a bottle. One of those two was the greatest animal friend you could ask for, she never left my side when I was outside. It’s been over a decade but it still haunts me, the neighbors were pieces of shit about it too.
I had a pet bantam chicken when I was a kid. She was a dainty lady who only wanted to be hand-fed and loved sitting on my lap. I fucking loved that chicken. She got run over by a motorist, so I know *exactly* how Calvin Harris felt.
My dog killed my neighbours chickens. It was entirely my fault. I still feel terrible about it 15 years later. I left the gate open. It was all me. I am the murderer. I’ll never live it down and I will feel awful forever. My dog has been long gone now and I still think about her and those poor chickens regularly. So awful. So very very awful. I failed the dog and the chickens.
We had neighbors when I was a kid that had peacocks, emus, a species of deer from somewhere in Asia, and several other exotic animals. They had to put traps all around their property due to the dogs owned by the people across the street. My parents say the dogs were just awful and any time they broke free, they’d cross the street and try to attack.
I love dogs, but don’t understand owners like that.

The neighbor’s dogs jumped her fence & killed my mom’s senior cat right in front of her. They were sitting on the patio together, like always, when all of a sudden three dogs were on her cat. My mom tried her best to get them away but they tore her tiny old lady to fucking pieces. I will never understand why people can’t just leash their dogs, especially the ones that have been bred for centuries to be hunters or fighters.

Aww poor guy, so many people don’t take pet chickens and other small animals seriously, but that’s so sad, he raised him from a baby and you do bond with them, I know we can’t prove animals feel love but I’ve definitely had birds be as affectionate as dogs and cats can be.
