Dolly Parton Gives Advice to Kelly Clarkson After Brandon Blackstock Death | E! News
Dolly Parton is sharing advice on grieving loved ones months after her husband Carl Thomas Dean died at the age of 82. The music legend offers some words of wisdom to friends Kelly Clarkson and Aribba McIntyre as they mourn the late Brandon Blackstock who is Kelly’s ex-husband and Reeba’s stepson. As Dolly shares to Entertainment Tonight on August 12th, “I think you just have to be grateful for the years that you’ve had with someone and you just try to remember the very best of all that. Take their energy that they had given you, recycle that, and let that become a part of you. Simply putting it, just honor their memory. Brandon, dad to River and Remington with Kelly, died of natural causes related to melanoma at the age of 48 on August 7th. According to the Silverbo County Corner, and following his passing, a number of Brandon’s loved ones shared moving tributes to the producer, including his brother Shelby Blackstock, who is the son of Reeba and her ex Norvel Blackstock. Writing in part on Instagram August 8th, “Words cannot begin to capture the tremendous loss our family has endured. Brandon Blackstock was an irreplaceable part of our family, funny, bright, and full of life, and he will be deeply missed. [Music]

I feel for the kids but we can't forget the abuse he put Kelly through. Yes forgive thats all I've ever done ive been wronged a thousand times. But I still stand with her. Even til he died he faught with her in court after all his abuse to her he still kept coming for her while sick with cancer. He was ruthless.

He was a creep who is now being billed as the best and greatest. What kind of man takes millions from his wife and acts so entitled? He didn't grow up poor. I'm sorry for his children because they lost their dad and hoping Kelly gets her Montana ranch back. Although he may have left it to his "soulmate😂" who was his former wifes friend and employee. He was only a big man when he was standing on Kelly's wallet.
In time find and embrace forgiveness, you don't have to necessarily forget, but forgiveness heals, treasure all the good times and share those with the kids, memories are precious, there is no rush of time on healing and grieving do it at your own pace gawd speed Kelly you will get through this😎
I read these comments over & over & I'm still wondering how so many people know the ins & outs of their marriage & divorce? I don't remember the husband ever speaking out but I do remember Kelly. I've been a fan of hers since AI but she was hurt & angry & I don't blame her but her side was the only side told right? I don't know what went on; what I do know is children have lost their father parents have lost their son & siblings have lost their brother. All the other noise is between Brandon Kelly & God
Cancer can completely change someone's personality. I can almost not help wonder if it did that to him.
Does she get her money back now?
Kelly didn’t care about her X she even made songs about it after their divorce. She hated paying him alimony too. She may be sad that her kids lost their father but she was done when she left him.
