A-Level results day has come about once again, with thousands of teenagers anxiously picking up their grades today.
Schools all across Birmingham and the West Midlands will be aiding their young people to figure out what the next steps are for them, as they look to the future.
Many of us will know the stress associated with waiting for your results, and just like us, the Royal Family have also had their fair share of nerves – with multiple members having sat their exams at college or sixth form.
Prince William, the heir to the throne, sat his A-Levels back in the year 2000, with the Royal achieving an A in Geography, an A in the History of Art and a C in Biology, before he famously flew the nest and eventually met his future wife, Princess Catherine, at the University of St Andrews.

Just like her then-future-husband, the Princess of Wales was also nervously revising back in 2000 for the A-Level grades which would ultimately take her to St Andrews and to Royalty.
She earned an A in Maths, an A in Art, and a B in English when she did her A-Levels, an impressive round of results no doubt.
Fast forward three years, and it was Prince Harry’s turn to take the sixth form limelight after his stint at Eton.
The prince received two A-Levels, a B in Art and a D in Geography, Hello! magazine reported. Prince Harry did not opt to go to university, but instead went travelling before joining the army.
Harry’s cousin, Princess Beatrice also fared well during her A-Levels, scoring an A in Drama and Bs in History and Film Studies in 2007. She studied at Goldsmiths College in London after her success.
Her sister, Princess Eugenie, achieved As in Art and English Literature, as well as a B in the History of Art, before going to study English Literature and History of Art at Newcastle University.

The most recent Royal to sit her A-Levels was Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
While it was confirmed she did pass all of her chosen subjects, which were English, History, Politics and Drama, Buckingham Palace did not reveal her exact results.
In what appears to be a family tradition, the young Royal followed in her older cousin’s footsteps, Prince William, by attending St Andrews and studying English Literature.
