This is my brand new album. Taylor Swift announces a new album. In a teaser clip for Taylor’s upcoming appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelsey’s New Heights podcast, the celeb reveals she’s got a briefcase holding a huge surprise. I wanted to show you something. Okay, what do we got? We got uh a briefcase. Yep. Mint green with TS on it. Yep. What’s in it? This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl. TS12. Yeah. Earlier, amid a cryptic countdown clock that mysteriously appeared on her official site just hours before the news. Taylor confirmed she would be the surprise guest on the August 13th episode with a flirty teaser featuring her and Trav. Such a nice color on you. Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie. It’s why we match so well. We’re on a new podcast. As noted, this will be Taylor’s 12th studio album, and the clip announcing the new era dropped August 12th at 12:12 a.m. Eastern time in the US. However, she is keeping some things under wraps. The cover to the album is blurred in the New Heights clip, and it’s hidden under a padlock on her official site. So, more surprises to come. Clearly, her site says the products available for pre pre-order ship before October 13th, but adds a disclaimer. This is not the release date, official release date to be announced. But one thing we do know, Taylor is about to enter her showgirl era. So, we better get ready for glitz, glam, and a whole lot of shimmer. [Music]
