Over on Taylor Swiftswift.com, a red and orange glittery background catches the eye while the text on top ticks down until the big reveal, which appears to be locked in on August 12th at 12:12 a.m. Eastern time. Taylor loves a cosmic number combo, so this feels very on brand. The clock dropped just hours after chatter online seemed to suggest fans are convinced that her boyfriend Travis Kelsey, who she began dating in September 2023, will feature her as the next special guest on his New Heights podcast and that he may be playing a special role in ushering in her new musical era. Why? Well, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end teased an upcoming episode of his and brother Jason Kelsey’s podcast by sharing on X that they’re coming back with a very special guest. While the promotional image features a silhouette of what seems to be a female with long hair, it was Jason’s t-shirt that really grabbed fans attention. After all, he was wearing none other than Taylor’s merch. A few especially eagle-eyed fans also noticed that while the background of the teaser is usually yellow, it was orange for this specific announcement. Such a nice color on you. Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie. It’s why we match so well. Undo podcast. So, of course, Swifties could only assume that the All Too Well singer has been preparing to usher in her new orange themed era with a new album to go with it. And with this background for the countdown clock seemingly mirroring that theme, let’s just say it has fans on the edge of their seats. After all, Taylor can make the whole room shimmer. And whatever this mystery turns out to be, we can expect answers at 12:12 a.m. So get ready to sparkle, Swifties. [Music]

      First of all, I am not a Taylor hater at all but this is another drop at a time when taylor needs to speak up on other issues. When people are constantly questioning her, asking her and to be fair begging her because she is a celebrity who can make change when it comes to the ongoing genocide in Palestine — she has decided to drop another album so that everyone who now searches for Taylor swift, sees this news. Now if you google, you will either see news about her new album or her doing a podcast with her boyfriend and none of those things are wrong but right now, unfortunately they are. Not taking a stand whilst the world watches a genocide in action, is truly disheartening from someone who does have the power and money to make the change. This PR, SEO game that they are playing is smart but inhumane.
