In her latest Instagram upload, Meghan Markle posted on the As Ever official account, a picture of her team’s latest creation – biscuits in a baking tray made with her shortbread cookie mix, one of the products available to buy on her website. Alongside a tray of baked goods which were iced and sprinkled with flowers, Meghan captioned the post: “The As ever team getting creative in the kitchen with our shortbread cookie mix, flower sprinkles, and delicious fruit spreads. Perfect for tea time…or anytime.”

Social media users, however, have complained the presentation looks “childlike” and criticised the display of baked goodies. One user on X wrote: “How ridiculous. That looks like 5 year olds decorating cookies.” Another wrote: “Looks like something I would have made in kindergarten..” One X user added: “Does she really look at this and think it is creative? It looks like a mess.”

Another commented on the display: “Looks like the efforts of a kindergarten class, nearly, not quite up to that level yet.”

However, some fans of the As Ever founder praised the creation. One wrote: “I love the thumbprint cookies!” Another added they “couldn’t wait to receive” their As Ever wine items, and a third simply branded the tray “creative!”.

‘With Love, Meghan’ was renewed for a second season just as season one was released in March. In a press release, issued by Archewell Productions and shared by Netflix, the brand has been “developed in partnership with Netflix”

Their statement read: “Meghan’s lifestyle brand, launched in April with a curated collection of products that sold out in under an hour. The brand, developed in partnership with Netflix, will continue expanding into new product categories with new items continuing to be released throughout the remainder of the year.”

The Duchess of Sussex launched a vintage 2024 Napa Valley rosé wine on her As Ever brand’s website on August 4, which was one of the last products to be released.

The new wine has the exact same price point as her previous batch, and is available in batches of three, six and 12, with each bottle costing £22 ($30) and sold at £66 ($90), £116 ($159) and £218 ($300) respectively. The pale pink wine, which comes in a clear bottle with a white, gold-rimmed label, has an ABV (alcohol by volume) of 13.5% – one percent lower than its predecessor.

The press release added that ‘With Love, Meghan’ season one debuted in the Global Top 10 TV list and reached the Top 10 in 24 countries. The show had 5.3M views in the first half of 2025, making it Netflix’s most-watched culinary show since its release.

Meghan said: “We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand. My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”

Season Two is set to air on August 26. Netflix states: “Meghan returns with a fun and heartwarming new season, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery.

“From playful cooking challenges to DIY projects, Meghan and her guests explore bold flavors, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life. It’s all about embracing playfulness over perfection and finding joy in creating together.”
